Description
Drawstring Wide-Leg Trousers
The Summer Pants are a light wide-leg trouser cut straight from the waist to the floor.
The waistband is gathered onto elastic with a drawstring tied at the centre front, so you pull them on and draw them in to suit you. From there the leg runs wide and straight without a taper, so the whole trouser moves in one piece as you walk.
A light textured woven is what carries this shape, cool in the heat and soft against you.

How to print it
Open the file in Adobe Reader
Use the A4 or US Letter file. Adobe Reader is free, and it is the only reader that handles the size layers correctly.
Switch off the sizes you don't need
Open the layers panel on the left and leave only your size visible. You will use far less paper and ink, and the pieces are easier to cut.
Set scaling to 100%
Choose Actual Size, and make sure Fit to Page or Shrink to Fit is switched off. This is what keeps the pattern true to size.
Print page one and measure the test square
If the square measures correctly, your settings are right. If not, check the scaling and print page one again before going further.
Print the remaining pages and assemble
Line up the registration marks, tape the sheets together, and follow the assembly diagram that came with your files.
Prefer a copy shop? Use the A0 file
Hand over the A0 file and ask for 100% scale with no tiling. One sheet, no taping, nothing to assemble.
What you are buying
