Description
Striped Ruffle Playsuit
The Playsuit is a light woven one-piece drawn in at the waist, with an open back worth turning around in.
A V neckline sits at the front and drops to a deep V at the back, where a cut-out opens at the waist and buttons run down the opening. Gathered ruffles stand at each shoulder in place of sleeves. The waist is gathered onto a drawstring that ties at the front, so you can pull it in as much as you like, and the short leg sits at the upper thigh.
Cotton, linen, polyester, gingham and chambray all suit it, and a crisp stripe keeps those ruffles standing.

How to print it
Open the file in Adobe Reader
Use the A4 or US Letter file. Adobe Reader is free, and it is the only reader that handles the size layers correctly.
Switch off the sizes you don't need
Open the layers panel on the left and leave only your size visible. You will use far less paper and ink, and the pieces are easier to cut.
Set scaling to 100%
Choose Actual Size, and make sure Fit to Page or Shrink to Fit is switched off. This is what keeps the pattern true to size.
Print page one and measure the test square
If the square measures correctly, your settings are right. If not, check the scaling and print page one again before going further.
Print the remaining pages and assemble
Line up the registration marks, tape the sheets together, and follow the assembly diagram that came with your files.
Prefer a copy shop? Use the A0 file
Hand over the A0 file and ask for 100% scale with no tiling. One sheet, no taping, nothing to assemble.
