Description
Strappy Slip Dress
The Easy Dress is a fluid woven slip that hangs from two fine straps and is shaped by nothing else, for the kind of effortless summer dressing that takes moments to pull on.
A soft V neckline is broken by a single strap crossing the opening, a delicate detail that keeps the front sitting where you put it, while the back drops to a deep V of its own. Every edge is bound with a narrow strip instead of a facing, keeping a dress this light soft at the neckline, and a gently curved hem completes the easy line.
Silk, cotton, polyester, linen, viscose and challis are all in range. The whole dress is one straight fall, so the cloth does the work.

How to print it
Open the file in Adobe Reader
Use the A4 or US Letter file. Adobe Reader is free, and it is the only reader that handles the size layers correctly.
Switch off the sizes you don't need
Open the layers panel on the left and leave only your size visible. You will use far less paper and ink, and the pieces are easier to cut.
Set scaling to 100%
Choose Actual Size, and make sure Fit to Page or Shrink to Fit is switched off. This is what keeps the pattern true to size.
Print page one and measure the test square
If the square measures correctly, your settings are right. If not, check the scaling and print page one again before going further.
Print the remaining pages and assemble
Line up the registration marks, tape the sheets together, and follow the assembly diagram that came with your files.
Prefer a copy shop? Use the A0 file
Hand over the A0 file and ask for 100% scale with no tiling. One sheet, no taping, nothing to assemble.
What you are buying
