Description
Oversized Hooded Blanket Top
The Cozy Hoodie is an enormous plush hoodie cut more like a blanket than a garment, made for staying in.
The hood is lined in contrast sherpa and opens on a deep V, so it sits soft round your face rather than pulling at the neck. A large pouch pocket runs across the front, and contrast trim edges the hood, the pocket and the cuffs, which is what keeps a shape this big from reading as shapeless. The sleeves are cut very wide and gathered into ribbed cuffs.
A heavy plush fleece with a sherpa lining is what this is cut for.

How to print it
Open the file in Adobe Reader
Use the A4 or US Letter file. Adobe Reader is free, and it is the only reader that handles the size layers correctly.
Switch off the sizes you don't need
Open the layers panel on the left and leave only your size visible. You will use far less paper and ink, and the pieces are easier to cut.
Set scaling to 100%
Choose Actual Size, and make sure Fit to Page or Shrink to Fit is switched off. This is what keeps the pattern true to size.
Print page one and measure the test square
If the square measures correctly, your settings are right. If not, check the scaling and print page one again before going further.
Print the remaining pages and assemble
Line up the registration marks, tape the sheets together, and follow the assembly diagram that came with your files.
Prefer a copy shop? Use the A0 file
Hand over the A0 file and ask for 100% scale with no tiling. One sheet, no taping, nothing to assemble.
What you are buying
This is a downloadable PDF sewing pattern and its instructions. No finished garment and no printed paper pattern will be posted to you. Fabric, thread and sewing equipment are not included. The garments in the photographs were made using this pattern.
