Description
Patchwork Quilted Zip Jacket
The Zip Up Jacket is a quilted patchwork jacket with contrast binding, patch pockets and a separating zip.
Bias tape edges the whole jacket, the front, the neckline, the hem and the pockets, so the quilting is closed off wherever it has been cut. The lining is made up as its own jacket and joined inside, the sleeve seam runs from the cuff down to the hem in one line, and the zip separates so it opens right out.
A pre-quilted patchwork is what this needs, with bias tape to finish every edge.

How to print it
Open the file in Adobe Reader
Use the A4 or US Letter file. Adobe Reader is free, and it is the only reader that handles the size layers correctly.
Switch off the sizes you don't need
Open the layers panel on the left and leave only your size visible. You will use far less paper and ink, and the pieces are easier to cut.
Set scaling to 100%
Choose Actual Size, and make sure Fit to Page or Shrink to Fit is switched off. This is what keeps the pattern true to size.
Print page one and measure the test square
If the square measures correctly, your settings are right. If not, check the scaling and print page one again before going further.
Print the remaining pages and assemble
Line up the registration marks, tape the sheets together, and follow the assembly diagram that came with your files.
Prefer a copy shop? Use the A0 file
Hand over the A0 file and ask for 100% scale with no tiling. One sheet, no taping, nothing to assemble.
