Description
Cropped Faux Fur Jacket
The Mabel Jacket is a short faux fur jacket with a wide collar and pockets lined through.
The pocket lining is sewn to its facing and then to the front, the seam allowance trimmed and the lining turned inside, so the opening lies flat in the pile. The sleeve is seamed at the top and the bottom, an iron-on hemming strip holds the hem, and the collar sits open at the neck.
Faux fur, teddy fabric, sherpa, fleece and polar fleece all sew up well here.

How to print it
Open the file in Adobe Reader
Use the A4 or US Letter file. Adobe Reader is free, and it is the only reader that handles the size layers correctly.
Switch off the sizes you don't need
Open the layers panel on the left and leave only your size visible. You will use far less paper and ink, and the pieces are easier to cut.
Set scaling to 100%
Choose Actual Size, and make sure Fit to Page or Shrink to Fit is switched off. This is what keeps the pattern true to size.
Print page one and measure the test square
If the square measures correctly, your settings are right. If not, check the scaling and print page one again before going further.
Print the remaining pages and assemble
Line up the registration marks, tape the sheets together, and follow the assembly diagram that came with your files.
Prefer a copy shop? Use the A0 file
Hand over the A0 file and ask for 100% scale with no tiling. One sheet, no taping, nothing to assemble.
What you are buying
