Description
Quilted Laptop Sleeve
This sleeve is quilted and cut like an envelope, with a flap that folds down over the front to close it.
Vertical channel quilting runs the length of the front and back, giving the piece enough body to hold its shape around a laptop. The flap curves gently at the top edge rather than running straight, and closes with a single snap fastened at the center, quick to open with one hand.
A quilted cotton print works well here, structured enough to protect the laptop while still folding cleanly at the flap.

How to print it
Open the file in Adobe Reader
Use the A4 or US Letter file. Adobe Reader is free, and it is the only reader that handles the size layers correctly.
Switch off the sizes you don't need
Open the layers panel on the left and leave only your size visible. You will use far less paper and ink, and the pieces are easier to cut.
Set scaling to 100%
Choose Actual Size, and make sure Fit to Page or Shrink to Fit is switched off. This is what keeps the pattern true to size.
Print page one and measure the test square
If the square measures correctly, your settings are right. If not, check the scaling and print page one again before going further.
Print the remaining pages and assemble
Line up the registration marks, tape the sheets together, and follow the assembly diagram that came with your files.
Prefer a copy shop? Use the A0 file
Hand over the A0 file and ask for 100% scale with no tiling. One sheet, no taping, nothing to assemble.
What you are buying
