Description
Plaid Shacket
The Jacket is a brushed plaid shacket, long enough to cover the hip and warm enough to wear as outerwear.
A pointed collar sits at the neck and can be worn open or closed, and buttons run down the centre front. Two flap pockets sit high on the chest with the flaps buttoned down over them, and the long sleeves finish in a buttoned cuff. The body falls straight and easy past your hip.
A brushed plaid with weight gives the shacket its warmth and keeps it hanging straight.

How to print it
Open the file in Adobe Reader
Use the A4 or US Letter file. Adobe Reader is free, and it is the only reader that handles the size layers correctly.
Switch off the sizes you don't need
Open the layers panel on the left and leave only your size visible. You will use far less paper and ink, and the pieces are easier to cut.
Set scaling to 100%
Choose Actual Size, and make sure Fit to Page or Shrink to Fit is switched off. This is what keeps the pattern true to size.
Print page one and measure the test square
If the square measures correctly, your settings are right. If not, check the scaling and print page one again before going further.
Print the remaining pages and assemble
Line up the registration marks, tape the sheets together, and follow the assembly diagram that came with your files.
Prefer a copy shop? Use the A0 file
Hand over the A0 file and ask for 100% scale with no tiling. One sheet, no taping, nothing to assemble.
What you are buying
